my new hat

like my new hat? on a "quick" trip to the grocery store, i ended up making a massive detour to michael's arts and crafts. my sole purpose was to get generic birthday cards. and this is what i came out with. a yellow foam hard hat.

i figured i could always were jeans and a plaid shirt and be a construction worker for halloween.

my favorite part is the warning label. it says "WARNING: hat not intended for use as a safety protection device, for pretend play only." yeah, i was definitely going to confuse this hat with my actual hard hat. right...

ps: i'm using this post as a way to procrastinate doing my building science homework. not surprising.
